NSS fosters appreciation for diverse perspectives, empathy toward others, and respect for all living beings. The philosophy behind NSS highlights the belief that an individual’s welfare is inseparable from the welfare of society as a whole. Therefore, NSS volunteers dedicate themselves to the well-being and progress of the community.
Objectives of NSS:
i. Understanding the community in which they work
ii. Understanding themselves in relation to their community
iii. Identifying the needs and problems of the community and involving themselves in problem-solving
iv. Developing a sense of social and civic responsibility
v. Using their knowledge to find practical solutions to community and individual problems
